What Happens at Your On-Site Visit

We walk the yard together and look at what actually decides the build: sunlight, slope, drainage, and how you move through the space. We take detailed measurements, talk through the materials you’re drawn to, and note the features you don’t want to give up.

Nothing gets signed at the visit. Afterwards we put together a layout concept with material recommendations and a clear estimate, so you can see the plan and the price side by side before committing to anything.

How to Get the Most Out of It

A little prep makes the visit quicker and the estimate more accurate. If you have them handy, it helps to have:

Photos or saved images of layouts and materials you like
A rough budget range, even a wide one — it changes what we recommend
Any HOA guidelines or architectural review rules for your neighborhood
Where your sprinkler lines, drainage and utilities run, if you know
Everyone who’ll be part of the decision

Is the on-site estimate really free?

Yes. The visit, the measurements and the written estimate are all free, and there’s no obligation to book work with us afterward.

Do I need to be home for the visit?

It helps if everyone involved in the decision can be there. We’re walking the yard and asking how you want to use the space, and those answers shape the layout more than the measurements do.

Will I get a price during the visit?

Usually not on the spot. We take measurements first, then send a layout concept with material recommendations and a clear estimate — so the number you get matches an actual plan rather than a guess.

What if I’m still just in the planning stage?

That’s a good time to call. Knowing what your yard will allow and what a space realistically costs makes planning far easier, even if the build is months away.
